Begin among the remarkable landscapes of Hunter Valley Gardens, where ten themed gardens transform former paddocks and vineyard land into a completely different expression of the region.

Then follow your senses.

Discover artisan cheese and local produce, learning how texture, aroma, salt and ageing can change the tasting experience.

Next, swap grapes for botanicals as we explore craft distilling and discover what makes gin gin, how distillation differs from winemaking and why Australian producers have embraced native and local ingredients.

Lunch provides the day's natural pause before we surrender to something sweeter: chocolate.

Here we'll discover just how much flavour begins with aroma — and why your nose may be doing more work than you realise.
