Do QuokkaGuide tours work offline?
Yes. Once a tour is downloaded in the app, the audio and maps work fully offline. GPS triggers the narration as you drive, so you do not need mobile signal or data once the tour is on your phone.
How do I download a QuokkaGuide tour?
Install the QuokkaGuide app from the iOS App Store or Google Play, purchase the tour, then download it to your phone before you set off. Downloading in advance means everything works without internet on the road.
What phone do I need to use QuokkaGuide?
Any modern iPhone (iOS) or Android phone with GPS will work. Tours run inside the free QuokkaGuide mobile app, which you can install from the App Store or Google Play.
How does GPS audio autoplay work?
The app uses your phone's GPS to detect each point of interest along the route and automatically plays the narrated story as you reach it. There is no need to tap anything while you drive.
Can I get a refund on a QuokkaGuide tour?
Refunds are offered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If a tour is defective, misleading, or not as described, contact support@quokkaguide.com within 14 days.
Do I need a tour guide or to book a time?
No. QuokkaGuide tours are self-guided with no group, guide, or fixed schedule. You drive at your own pace and start whenever you like.
Can I use a tour more than once or across multiple days?
Yes. A purchased tour stays in your app and can be replayed as often as you like, so multi-day road trips and repeat drives are fine.
