I’m one of the Founders and Directors of Quokka Guide, but at heart I’m simply someone who loves discovering interesting places and the stories behind them.

I’ve always been curious about the places I visit. For me, travelling isn’t just about ticking off the big attractions — it’s about finding those hidden gems, meeting the people who make a destination special, and discovering something you didn’t expect.

With a background in technology and local government, I enjoy combining my passion for exploring with creating useful and engaging experiences for others.

Through Quokka Guide, I get to share the places, stories, history and experiences I discover along the way, helping visitors see a destination from a different perspective.

I’m particularly interested in regional Australia and the stories that can sometimes be overlooked. There’s always another road to take, another story to uncover and another reason to stop and explore.
